Urswick Parish is located on the Furness Peninsula in the county of Cumbria, United Kingdom. It borders on Morecambe Bay, into which the parish boundary extends.

The centre of the parish, taken as the Parish Church marked on the map to the south west of the blue tarn at Great Urswick, is at 54º 9′ North 3º 7′ West, or using the UK’s Ordnance Survey Grid Reference, at SD 2683 7419.

The high point of the parish, from where magnificent views are possible, is the summit of Birkrigg Common at SD 284 742 with an altitude of 136 metres.
