I would like to say a few words about Parish Councillor Paul Bolt who sadly passed away.

His commitment to the parish in his role as councillor was exemplary. Be it his speed watch campaign, or as Tarn Bailiff collecting fishing and boat licence money or maintaining the surrounding land or the tarn itself.

During his illness over the past 10 years he showed true grit in the face of adversity.

His spirit of resilience, generosity and humour had seen Paul through more pain and discomfort than most of us will ever know. It was borne with great courage.

Paul will be sorely missed both as a friend and Councillor.
