World Heritage Site status, how can it help us?

The Lake District National Park, has after decades of work, achieved World Heritage Site Status.    But what does that mean for you and I?     We’re outside the National Park, so how can we benefit?

Parish Councillor Loraine Birchall is a member of the Lake District National Park Business Taskforce and attended a briefing recently.    Loraine asked if all businesses in Cumbria (and Parish Councils too) could use this branding to promote the area and the proximity to us.    The reply from LDNPA was a resounding and very clear YES.

Here is the website and a link to the Toolkit with logos, stories, branding and photos you can use when promoting the World Heritage Site and linking it to YOUR business.    Examples are shown in the kit of joint branding which can elevate your own brand as well as show Cumbria at it’s best.
